I got a new computer at work the other day and while I was copying all of my files over, I found these snapshots and they made me smile. Last Christmas I made each of my sisters a quilted zipper pouch, and stuck some small presents inside. I had fun coming up with all of the different designs. In fact, I have a whole page worth of ideas that I didn’t end up making!

I decided while I was making these that I love quilting, but NOT actual quilts. Mini quilting is awesome! Blankets are so huge and easy to screw up. Which is kind of sad, because I so want to make a quilt for my own bed. Maybe someday I’ll just sew the quilt top that I want and pay someone else to quilt it for me. That’s sounds like a great idea to me!

Also, these pouches just make me miss my sisters more than I already do. Living far away stinks sometimes.
