On Sunday, Shaun took the kids to the farm to visit Great Oma, and I had the entire afternoon to myself. And goodness that was nice! The weather was absolutely beautiful, perfect for painting on the back deck. I don’t get to be outside as much as I’d like, since I work full time. But a quiet afternoon of soaking up the sunshine and listening to the birds is just good for the soul. I stayed outside until dark working on the mini painting pictured above, and two other larger paintings that I’ll share soon. Today it’s cold outside and I’m sitting at work wishing it were still Sunday afternoon.
