July Wrap Up

July was such a fun month! My sister and her family came to stay with us for a few days, we discovered a favorite place to go swimming, bought a cheap bike trailer, finally got library cards, celebrated Shaun’s birthday and our engagement anniversary, had a couple of great date nights and went to the county fair. With me working full-time now, we are trying to make the most of our time together as a family.

I finished one drawing this month and started several more. I also started experimenting with watercolors! Something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. Other than that, and a pretty simple thread holder, I haven’t had much time to be creative. I am trying to find a way to fit a little more crafty time into my new schedule. Oh! We also painted Juniper’s room! That was a fun project that we are still finishing up.

365 Days Outside
I am really excited about this project now that I’ve made this realization. Even with the insane 100°+ weather every day, we still got outside most days this month. Our activities have been a little more laid back, but now that Juniper’s foot is healing up nicely we’ll be heading back to the beach soon! I have a lot of fun activities planned for August.
