Lately my craft area has been driving me insane. We have a 17 month old who LOVES to get into everything she can get her hands on, so we need to keep it all up out of her reach. So no matter how hard I try to keep it clean and organized, by the time I get home from work my husband has thrown everything (and I mean everything, even the garbage pail) up on top of my small desk. It gets so hard to find anything… And it just kills my creative motivation.

SO. Yesterday we went to the Goodwill and bought a new bookshelf!! I love it! Everything fits nicely on it, it looks great, and everything is out of reach! I’m a little paranoid about it tipping over, so I’m going to have Shaun anchor it to the wall. Other than that it’s perfect! (Even the garbage has a new location up out of reach NOT on my desk hahaha)

I also found some neat wooden trays at the Goodwill that I painted and lined with scrapbook paper to add a little more organization to my desk. I love how they turned out, I just wish there were a couple more of them!
