I wasn’t planning on posting this drawing until Monday, because I didn’t want to ruin the surprise. But I’m fairly certain her mama doesn’t read this blog, at least not that I know of! I will be giving this drawing to her at church on Sunday. Often times I see a photograph that is just too lovely and I have to draw it. (Like this one.) And this picture of baby Clare is so, so cute. Plus her mama is always so kind, I thought I’d do something nice for her. Stefanie really does beautiful work with her photography.

Juniper especially loved this drawing. After I scanned it, she asked me to print her out a copy and was so excited that we had matching pictures. She even took the picture to bed with her, and woke up in the middle of the night crying inconsolably because she bent it with her blanket.. Ok, so that part wasn’t so cute. Plus, her foot was hurting her so it took a while to get her back to sleep. Good thing Flynn is sleeping through the night now or I would have been dead this morning!

Today on my lunch break, I am going to start working on a drawing for the giveaway winner. (Samantha from the chronicles of we!)
