June Wrap Up

June was so much fun. Especially since I spent almost half of it at home visiting my enormous family! I miss everyone, but it is so nice to be home. We did a ton of thrifting while I was in Connecticut, it was awesome. Within the first two weeks of June, I finished two new drawings which is a new record I think. We also got family pictures taken this month. I printed a bunch of them and actually hung them up! These silly pictures are still making me laugh, I got a new lens, and I hosted my very first giveaway. June was a very exciting month!

July is going to be a month of restructuring. Starting on the 9th, I’m going to be working full-time and our schedules will finally be more predictable. It will be a nice change.

365 Days Outside
Now that it is super hot outside, it seems to be a little bit harder to stay motivated to get out there. Our air conditioning is just so nice! We had a lot of fun playing outside in Connecticut with all of the little cousins together. Our favorite activities lately have been bike riding, watering the garden (seriously, it NEEDS to rain, and soon..) and playing at the park. I’m a little surprised that anything is growing in our garden because it hasn’t rained in like 2 months. The zucchini plant is huge, and our watermelon is all viney and cool looking. We might even have a rouge corn plant by our deck from when Juniper used to feed the birds!

I’m going to post last Friday’s weekly update tomorrow since I didn’t have time to post it before we left for our road trip. The trip, by the way, was a lot of fun! I got to hang out with my sister, laughing about giant invisible dear and accordions for 2 days. Of course it was fun. The poor kids weren’t so excited, but they did alright considering. And they are SO happy to be home!
