Remember this shirt that I started making Flynn two months ago? It’s been sitting on my sewing table since January, all cut out and ready to go. I finally finished it this weekend! I think it looks SO cute on him, even though I seriously screwed up the neck line. At first I didn’t sew it with enough stretch in my stitches so I had to spend some quality time with my trusty seam ripper… The second time it looked terrible, but actually fit over his enormous head so I’m calling it a win.
I’ve been sewing a lot for Flynn lately, because his birthday is on Sunday!! It’s so crazy to think this little guy is almost two. I’m sewing him a Link costume, complete with plush Hylian shield and master sword. The kid is slightly obsessed with Zelda. His party is on Friday, and I designed these invitations for it. (You can see the original image here. It was just too perfect, I had to use it.)
This kid seriously needs a hair cut, but I’m waiting until after his birthday because his long blond hair will look so cute with his new Link hat on. I probably won’t cut it too short, I love his long wispy baby hair. Babies aren’t babies for long enough. *pout*
Solution: Make more. *snickers*
Make more shirts, or more babies? haha My solution is to spoil my good friend’s new baby girl!
You complained that babies don’t last. The only solution that I see is to make new ones. Of course, borrowing someone else’s baby might work as well.
Of course, I also love snickers so if you want to make me some snickers. . .
p.s. VERY cute shirt.
