The latest craft swap I’ve completed was cartoon themed. I recieved an amazing package of Adventure Time goodies that make me ridiculously happy. And here is what I sent my partner. This 241 Tote was one of those “this is going to be amazing – crap what the heck did I get myself into – ehhhhhh ok maybe – yes this is amazing” type of projects. I had some serious doubts while I was sewing it together. But I think it works. And my partner loved it, so yay!
I really want to make a similar bag for myself, because I really like the way it looks. But it will probably be a while before I gather up the courage to tackle another one of these bags. Plus, I’m not sure who would be on it. I might actually try this same technique on a smaller scale, possibly for some mini mini quilts. That will probably be easier.
I also made the most ridiculous thing EVER. This Leela sleep mask made me laugh so hard when I thought up the idea, that I couldn’t not make it. It had to happen. It was destiny. And oh my goodness, it turned out even funnier than I had imagined. I giggled like an idiot the entire time I was working on it. I probably should have found an actual sleep mask pattern to use, because it ended up a big wonky. But it was just supposed to be a silly little extra, so it’s perfect just the way it is. I might have to make another for me, because it is just so silly.
